What do you think of this design for storage during the summer that allows for easy moving around the garage. I don't like how the sled sits on just a couple rows of lugs using these dollies as they were designed, so I put a couple of boards that span the track in between the lugs with a slight angle on them so they match the angle of the rail. This is a skidoo expedition 900.

Don't know if you screwed the blocks into the dolly. We made one for my son's sled ( 1 3/4" track) but boxed the ends in so that it's more sturdy. Before doing that they would sometimes fall over while trying to put the track on it. We made the blocks a little longer so that there is no problem fitting the track lugs in between them and the end pieces of wood

Moving Dollys.... 2 of these for the skis (18"X12") $12.99 each and one (30" X 18") $17.99 for the track, at Harbor Freight or wherever you can find them. 1,000 LB capacity each. The sled glides any direction. If needed throw a bungie on the ski ones. Put the carbides on the carpet and the track also on the carpet.
