Hi again

I just bought a 2006 GSX 550 Fan. How do I know which size studs to get for the track? I'm new to snowmobiling and would appreciate some help here.

Thanks guys.

If the track lug is .88 then 1" or 1.075 is fine. I always used 1.075 with no problems.
If it's the 1" track use 1.075 or 1.175. Again I use 1.175 with no issues.
Don't forget the tunnel protectors, get the 1" protectors and you'll be fine.

Also you will need to purchase the rails for the tunnel protectors. The fan cooled models do not have these installed. You will have to install these, it is not a tough job, just time consuming, you will need to pull the seat and the gas tank to install the tunnel protector rails. The instructions that come with the kit are good.
