Take a look at this bone stock Lynx RC 800 doing wheelies... it is not tuned in any way as far as we know.

Seems to work ok...

If the link doesn't work... I've got the clip and could mail it, the file is 10Mb in size.

Yeeeeesssway..... that is prolly stock. Lynx has always been that much sharper when it comes to performance then the rest.... perhaps why they still after many years are undefeated world champions when it comes to sport/performance sleds.
yeah, that's stock, at the test drive in Rovaniemi... As far as I know.
STock? I don't think completely. Regeared at the least

Why do you assume that it is geared the same as the Doo 800??? 'cause it isn't in the first place. Doo is likely having 25-45 in gearing... the Lynx is likely having 26-43.... Just because it isn't geard the same as the doo doesn't mean that it isn't stock. Or does it??

And... the Lynx have a way better skid that prolly helps a bit aswell. The PPS skid.

On a hard pack trail, bottem out the springs, soften the shock, give the limiter strap some adjusting, I bet that you get a doo to do that. I am not going to say that it will do it if the suspension is setup perfect.

Bet a stock 440 would do it. Stock is not always the same each sled is total different "stock"

Good vid.

EXCELLENT footage...he he he

I can do that. My sled is only 136hp.

When you play it, press "alt""enter" and makes for full screen.

I will be posting a video of me doing that at 80km/h.
I can put my sled up on the rear bumper at 50 km/h rolling throttle....
I have helmet cam footage posted on my new website. he he he

Ok, what gets a sled up like that? i have my limiter straps as loose as possible and my coupler set to as much track pressure as possible and I can't get my ski's an inch off the ground.

what kind of track do you have, oem? 1" 1 1/4" picks all that stuff, and stock clutching and gearing or what? if its got stock clutching and gearing its hard to get the 600's off the ground but is possible stock.

1" track, 96 studs

I've heard of people removing the coupler blocks entirely and disconnecting the limiter straps to do it. I mean, that would only be temporary jsut to see what it's like to do a trackstand.
Lynx sleds has for a long time had skids with alot of weight transfer, even my little 550 kan put the skis up (look at my avatar thingy) and still be very reliable on the trails. The sled in the video has 38 millimeters lugs(38 millimeters = 1.49606299 inches)

It's much more fun to be able to lift the front end over the bumps and stuff, instead of running in and through everything like a doo does...

Yeah but a the same time I don't want to hit the gas everytime and lose steering abilitys. Also drag racing it has to suck. Skis down is what you want for racing. You don't want that front end to come up all the time...

I can't wait!

The 800 has been the wheelie-king since '01!!! With my '04 (in the old ZX chassis), I just had to lean back while sitting on it, and pin the throttle to pop a wheelie! But after adjusting the limiter-strap one hole, and tightening the rear spring a little, I had to stand in the back of the boards to wheelie it. It's all in setup... The '05 I tried was just the same, just a little adjusting to get it a little less eager to get up...

My dealer said the RE would just raise the ski's a few inches from the ground (if you sat down), and just take off. But standing on the back of the boards (like in the clip), would make it pop a wheelie. The uncoupled rear suspension makes it very adaptive to rider input IMO, since it reacts different just by where you are sitting, and if you are leaning forward or backwards. To me, this is a better setup then a fully coupled rear, since I don't ride trails much. The downpoint is going up a steep hill, since it will barely keep the ski's on the snow no matter what you do...
