Can the new 13 wide slip gear fit in a 03 chain case? The 05 15 wide wouldnt. I tried the 15 since i have a bunch of 15 wide gears and chains.....didnt fit. Either the rear case changed or the front cover. Im guessing the rear did.

my cousin put the '05 slip gear on his '03. to make it fit he had to take that round spacer that holds the gear in, thats about an inch thick, to a machine shop and mill it down so the outer case would bolt on. he hasnt had any problems with it all.

Yup, the 05 gear fits in the 03, just buy the correct spacer. I think you need the correct cap as well.

As i said ive tried the "05 gear" the 05 is a 15 wide and it dosent fit. I had the bolt and the spacer. Its just to big.
