i have the stock ski's on my 05 adrenaline..
i know a kid with a set of the double carbide ski's
i think they were ski-doo's?? they are the tie dyed ones...
i just wanna know what people think about me trading him straight up..
his are in about the same condition..
what handles better powder/sidehilling/ditchbangin'/and on trail...

i know i should come up with some cash and buy some better ones but until then
what would you run????

I would defineatly go with the precisions! had em on my old 800x--went out west after i had em put on and my buddy who at the time had pair of 144 800 summits
had the mtn ski's on --what a difference! he had precisions on shortly after that. i
personally thought the mtn ski "sucked"

well, where are you riding? you can see that the minnesot mach star guy usus them there and they work fine. he probably rides trails there.
if you are riding deep poweder all of the time, you probably want a ski that has more flotation (surface area) to keep you on top of the snow.. I ran into this problem with the precisions. My sled wasnt staying on top of the powder with the precisions, but the skis worked great on the trails.
I swithced to the offset mountain skis and cured the problem. I also have a set of poweder pros that I like a lot too. There are a lot of quality mountian skis out there (includeing the ski doo ski).
See what other guys in your area are using and check them out. Different snow condidtions require different skis... All you have to do is match your skis to your snow condidtions.

His original question was for Powder, sidehilling, ditchbanging, & trails--for overall
conditions i'd still go with the precision's --yes if i was only mtn running i'd opt for the offset ski's myself, but for overall conditions imo the precisions are the way to go--and yes i'v used them out west, go to Colorado every year

If you want an excellent trail ski with great deep powder characteristics, go with the C&A XT ski. They are 7.25 inches wide and work great on the trail; though they are an agressive ski. They look really cool to.
