"Skinny" track on my Mach Z

Well, I have an idea that I am willing to try. I am going to purchase a "skinny" track for my Mach and see how it performs. I am going to purchase a 14" x 121" Hacksaw track for my Mach. They just came out for the Phazer, but it shold work fine with the Mach since the slide rails and drivers are the same, it will just be a 1/2" narrower on each side but from my memory, the idlers should still be okay.

Now, the Firecat tracks have almost the same "footprint" as this track in square inches. The 13.5 x 128 Hacksaw rips on the Firecats, so I think these can be made to really perform! The thing should be a rocket on the mid and top end as long as I can get the traction. My buddy has a 1" Hacksaw on his F7 and it had the same holeshot as his 1.375" sno pro track, but it was 6mph faster on the top end.

I am going to start with 144 Woody's Golddiggers right down the middle as a start. I used the same amount in my Ripsaw and traction was never a problem. I can always add more later...

PS - $310 is the best price I have seen so far...

I checked with several vendors at Haydays, the Grayslake show, and a local vendor named CB Performance Parts. They all wanted $310-315 for the track new in the box...
