The BRP kit and the C&A kit are both good. The more you need your tool kit, the more you'll figure out what you need to add. I've seen people who swear on certain items and I've never needed and questioned things I carry. Basics, plus what ever else you can think you might need is the key.

Use the above Power Mad tool wrap with similar items to the above kits. I add zip ties, small roll of tape, a couple fuses, and a few nuts and screws.

I usually have the kit stowed for "emergencies", but usually highly accessible, I keep a small belt pouch with a Leatherman "multi tool", a small reversible screwdriver, and a flashlight.

I like the Klim tool bag. If you carry a Linq bag on the tunnel, it fits in the bottom of the picnic basket bags pretty well. Or the 31L seat bag. Go to harbor freight and Walmart and pick up some cheaper wrench and socket sets. Get Allen wrenches too. Small hammer and punch. Screwdriver set with the bits on the end. You get torx, Phillips slotted etc with those. Tip: take masking tape and run a strip across the rows of sockets and screwdriver bits, Or you’ll have a mess of loose stuff floating around the bag. Oh yeah, don’t forget utility knife and needle nose pliers for those blown belt days

I don't carry one, but my son does (riding partner). He's in charge of knocking the ice out of our tunnels when we stop and before pulling the sleds into the garage. After all isn't that what sons are for, to help out the old man .......LOL
