Want to verify...if I apply more preload on my ski shocks, will that give me more ski pressure??? and will more ski pressure be better for the prevention of pushing in the turns??? and will it help in preventing the floating/ pushing in turns on packed trails that have some (3-4") of fresh snow on them???

Thanks

Doug

What sled? what skis?
But my general answers would be: 1.Yes 2 Yes but not in all snow conditions. 3. Not so much.. If they're 5.7's they'll still push in loose fresh snow.

Backing off the preload of your center shock will give you more ski pressure and lessen the push. Back it off till you know that the spring will stay on and start from there. This should make the steering hard/agressive. Add preload till it starts pushing and then back off from there. A lot has to do with your carbides and snow conditions. Hard to have one setting that works all day every day.
