Congratulations to Bryan Dyrdahl on his third 500 mile cross country race win (second on a skidoo)

Not a bad payday

Alrick Wadena finished second in Pro 600

Ross Erdman won the 440 class with over a 42 minute lead, he also finished fifth in Pro 600 and had the fastest time of the day in that class on sunday. It was his second cross country race ever.

Jason Bakke won Semi-Pro 600 by just about 5 minutes.

The pics with the snirt are actually from the previous USCC race in Barnesville. I just haven't seen any pics of Erdman or Bakke from the 500 yet. The snow conditions for the 500 were the best I have seen in the last 3 years since I've been attending it. It is a very cool event!! A LOT of sleds broke down...no Polaris' finished in the Pro 600 class.

That race must not have one of those stupid rules to allow 1,000 cc yamahas to run against 600cc 2 strokes.

Actually they do allow the 1,000 cc yamahas to run against the 600's, but the 2 guys who were in contention of a top five finish aboard yamahas broke down.

heheh, I bet someone at yamaha is probably already lobbying for them to run against 500 cc machines. There's no way 4 strokes are inferior, you just have to race them against the right sleds.

Fourtown is a bar/restraunt/convience store/gas station in the middle of no were about 10 miles straight east of Grygla. They used to run a big cross country race right by there years ago(10 years or ago so). I Don't know what the course was for this race, I couldn't find it on the web site.

My home town guy won it. That is a darn good deal, also glad to hear that ski-doo won it. it was a close one if the guy wouldn't have blow his motor drydahl wouldn't have gotten, and a artic cat would have won, but that is what you get for riding cat. lol
