I will double check but I think $599 without the electric shield, $899 with the electric shield, $349 for 1 communicator.

So over $1000 with communicator? Other than the built in noise cancelling feature. A CKX carbon fiber Mission weighs less and can buy a communicator. Still be cheaper

Yeah, no thanks, $1,000 with the comm is getting out of control.
I ram my mission this past weekend with my air pod pro’s and really like the sound quality. The noise cancelation was very good. Yeah, you don’t have comms with other riders, but that does matter to me much.

It does have some cool features.

• Built-in light in the back
• Heated shield garage
• Available flashlight
• Available communication, (VIBE).
• ELinQ for electrical hook up with powers everything.
• Modular design

The whole face lifts up instead of just a shield my most worrisome point is no adjustable venting on the shield itself like the mission does, if it’s too cold or too hot, you have to live with it.

the good thing is the communicator is built in the domeski and you don't have to worry about it having to sit off the side of it getting hit by wind and freezing up the battery

that said, its a spendy mofo, and i doubt i'd wanna spend that much on a lid, i'll stick with my mod 3 and just try and find a chin curtain

a longer one, the little flap doesn't do enough to protect my chin. last year i got an abscess from wind burn, and this year at the same temps with two Balaclavas i started getting minor burn before i caught it and used the annoying neck protector they provide that goes around the breath box. that thing basically chokes me out and makes it a pain to close the modular's face shield

I will never buy another BRP helmet. Done listening to how great their helmets are. They are NOT as advertised. My Mission is awesome. I am still trying to sell my carbon Oxygen that my wife bought for me.

If you look at the video that vent in the front that air goes up and out the top the levers on the bottom like an 02 helmet directs air into the helmet to keep the moisture off The shield the way I see it

No freakin' way I'd spend $600 and then $300 more for the heatedshield. My $300 Castle X EXO that inlcudes the heated shield is great. I have good communicators that are $100 less with and it can't get knocked off... and it will work with any other communicator.

Doo is out of their freakin' mind with ALL of their pricing.

Doo is using Sena to make the Vibe Communicator. I had the Sena SMH10 and they worked pretty well for several years. I even have a Bell Helmet that I use for my Spyder and it has a built-in mount for the SMH-10. I also have bicycle helmets with Sena communicators built-in.

I switched to the Cardo PackTalk Edge last season after reading reviews comparing the latest Sena to the latest Cardo products. The Packtalk Edge is great. I got a good deal and paid $400 for a new pair of them. They are usally $500 for a pair or $300 each. My wife listens to music all day and she was still almost 100% battery left after over 6 hours of continuous use in below freezing temps. They also use JBL Speakers and the sound quality is excellent. The noise cancellation is also very good.

The PackTalk Edge also has the same type of magnetic mount that locks it into place and I haven't seen that from any other communicator yet till the Vibe. It also uses the same Mesh technology the Vibe uses to allow for multiple users and then increased distance.

Doo doesn't say if it works with other communicators but if it is the latest technology it should. My PackTalk Edge will connect to about any other brand communicator but it has to use the Bluetooth connection mode and not the Mesh connection mode. The latest Sena communicators also will connect to other communicators using Bluetooth so you would think the same would be true for the Vibe.

Currently Sena does not offer a magnetic mount communicator for their commerically available communicators. I'm guessing they developed it for Doo and won't be able to offer that feature in their other products for x-years.

There is a very real reason why so many BV2S helmets can be seen on the trail, being worn by people riding new sleds. It was the last great helmet BRP made.
