Hey Guys,

Silly question, had about 1/4 tank of regular oil and siphoned it out and refilled with synthetic, am I silly to worry about air getting in the system?

Thanks!

If your worried about it, pull your airbox off and your carbs...(dont need ot fully unhook the carbs, just take them off the boots) Then, open the bleeder screw. Leave it open until you see a bubble get "suked" out, or long enough where you feel comfortable that there is no air in the system. It does get messy, but better than a melted piston...-Chris

Mix one tank at 100:1 if you still worried about it...

Good call 440 Man, once bled and running with some oil in the tank, I'll know I'm ok if the oil in the oil tank is going down right?

bleed it like 440 man said but also you should make a hook about 20 inches long and pull your oil pump lever wide open and let it idle like that for about 1 minute
