Hey guys, I have a 2013 Skidoo Summit Sport 600, 10300km and while I was taking my carb apart this is how my reeds were looking like (first picture clutch side, second is chaincase side). Last year my sled would start bogging if only I would crack the throttle from nothing to full throttle for 1/4 second then would rev to peak rpm fine, now this year it feels to be running richer in the lower range and still have the same issue from last year. I talked to others and made research, damaged/broken reeds seems to be the cause in all of this. I also inspected the carb boots and they were fine.
I didn't take the reeds out but just looking at the pictures, should the reeds be changed right away or could I keep riding it for just another week? I'm in college and sometime in February I will be back for a "studying week", that will be the last time I will be riding it for the season. I'm planning to get a set of Boyesen Rage Cage reeds for replacement.
Thanks all
