I have the Shaper 7.5" in the center and a Shaper 4.5" on the outside. I only put on 400 miles last year with good snow on the trails. Handled well, however, I am not an aggressive or critical rider.

I don't see where the Pilot X skis are much different than the 5.7 ski. If you like the 5.7 ski then you will like the Pilot X

I took the 5.7 skis off my other three sleds and now run the DS-2 skis. I'll run the Pilot X another 500 miles before I make up my mind.

But---To answer your question---The Stud Boy Shapers are good carbides. I run them on all four of my sleds.

Everything Don said. My sop is to move stock outside and run 7.5’s. It’s all about what you want out of your sled. Found x and 5.7 okay on 129 skids. Run C&A on the 137. Lots of options on setup. Shapers are my go to carbide.

We move the stocks to the outside and shaper’s bars in the middle and we have the Ice Ripper tracks
