Seems dead until you drop it

Hey All,
I have a 2012 GSX SE 1200 which when you press the start button nothing happens, No pumps no lights no gauges etc Its just a hunk of metal and plastic. It has been to the dealer 2X where they changed out the battery and then the battery ground wires do to corrosion.
If I do the solenoid screwdriver post connections, It will try to fire but fuel pump etc is not operational by doing this so it will not start but turns over. I have swapped the 2 relays with known working ones (identical sled) as well as start button fuse and main fuse with same result.
The only way I have had any success in getting it to run is tipping on its side and letting it fall, or picking it up from rear bumper and dropping it a few times.
Once started, it will run as normal (even go into reverse) until you shut it down again. Looking to see what your thoughts are. My next task I think is to look at the wiring at the starter motor itself (Thinking something is loose where it starts if you beat it up) Thoughts?? Thanks for your time.

Had a similar situation with a buddies 2015 GSX. When checking a fuse I noticed one wire terminal to the fuse had been pushed out the back of the fuse block. Snapped it back in and all was good. Just one possibility.
Of course this could happen with any wire in the fuse block so you might inspect the wires for the relays as well.
Good luck.

I did unmount the fuse block and check around behind it, nothing looked pushed out. Thanks for the thought!!
After reading posts in here, Think I am going to recheck the dealers work on the grounds from the battery.

Good idea. That same 2015 crapped out on the trail once. Loose ground.
If you jump the starter solenoid/relay, and it cranks, nothing wrong with the starter. Check the main fuse in the wire harness by the battery (not in the fuse box)..Mine had a tiny break that would cause voltage errors on my dash.

Do you have a service manual with the wiring schematic? There are some here Ski Doo Shop Manuals Bulletins Campaigns | Skidoo

Bad connection at main fuse like RainmanX said or check grd wire off right frt motor mount to frame.
You could always pick up a relay and make a test unit by prying it apart carefully and then you can close the contacts manually. You could also try giving the relay pins just a very slight twist to tighten the connection.

I would tug on every wire leading into any connector.
Went crazy with my old MXZ-X 440, would run perfectly on a stand but when you went down the trail it fouled plug after plug. Finally, after just bumping into a wire once with my arm, I discovered a terminal was loose in a connector, such that the M/F never nested. This left them touching, so it ran beautifully when it was sitting still. I "temporarily" created a jumper wire around the connection with some sleezy Scotchloks and it ran great until I sold it.
my friends GSX does same, its the fuse box. Pull relays and bend prongs so that they are angled thus making a tighter fit. His would die when hitting bumps,or lights go out or would not start. finally on trail we noticed the relays fit but didnt seem real tight when putting back in. We bent the prongs and no problems since

Could be the plug for the left handle bar start button, my 2012 GSX SE 800 had that issue.

Thanks everyone, Will investigate more this weekend with your ideas and post results!
Glad to hear I can skip the starter

appreciate the link, I had swapped that fuse with a known good one from the other machine.. I will check the wire and the clean the holder this weekend.

I try some bends and such. Once it starts it has not stopped until you shut it down. Hasnt died on its own
