I was wondering if you could run the 92 octane in the 03's with out changing the domes and the base gasket and having the switch on the 92 octane setting. Possible or not?

I do. I run HC domes , Vpower 93 oct., fresh gas always, and did plug checks and piston wash with 320-310 mains and stock pilots. Stock needle. Runs like a champ and I only got nervous once.Low snow and -35 sucker got hot but still cocoa plugs. On the trail I can get 91 anywhere so I try to keep the octane up as much as possible by just topping off. I keep tanks in the truck or trailer filled with 93 or higher. Do some testing with jetting and you should have no problems.

I have run 92 in the '03's as well with no problems (using HC heads). I could never jet as low as thumb2bar. I normally run 350 - 370 mains depending on the temps.
