I'm looking at a new leftover '07 REV, and am hemming and hawing over whether to get one with the standard 121" track or go for a Renegade with a 136". I doo lots of trail riding on what're supposed to be groomed trails, and I'm coming off of a 97 Mach1 with a 700 triple...I love the dam thing to death, but my 45 year old body just isn't what it used to be--think I'll keep it for lake runs {Here, Kitty-Kitty..

} Availability in leftover new sleds seems much more limited with the 136, but if it's that much of a difference, I'll stick to finding one....I'm told that you just plain don't feel bumps with the LT...true??

P.S. Then there's the issue of fitting a 'Gade on my 10' long clamshell trailer....??!!

The Gade will fit in your trailer...

You will still feel the bumps, but the smaller studder bumps will get soaked up by the longer skid. The added traction is huge from a 136" track....You will also notice right away if you start running off trail at all. I'm very happy with my 136"....

i've driven my dad's gade a couple times on bumpy and smooth trails... for comfort i'd pick the gade BY FAR!!!!!!! over my little tiny track.... if you wanna go hardcore ditchbanging i think my sled is WAY better!!! even with so much less power (600ho vs 800ho) and much less traction i can hit turns and bumps going much faster on mine just cause it's easier to whip around.... if i wanna go tail out into a corner (and i mean TAIL OUT) with my sled i just shift my weight a little and it's completely sideways!! on my dad's sled i gotta brake and then shift ALL my weight over to push the rear out.....

sparknotes: i'd take my 600 short-track if i wanna go fast through tight-bumpy trails but i'd take my dad's gade if i wanted a comfortable ride or if i wanna go off-trail or mostly lake riding

The gade his a 16" wide vs standard 15" wide. So its equivlant of a 144" 15 wide track basically. So its a lot more traction...

(I just extended my 03 800 to 144 and its so much darn fun)
