That was their slogan for 1968, get the decal remade so you can do a thorough paint job.
Cleaning the gas tank and making sure there aren't any leaks should be top priority after you strip it down. I recommend POR gas tank liner in these applications, it works well for eliminating the rust and also puts a coating on the inside of the tank.

I do know Goose. This isn’t my first restoration. The outside of the tank is rust/rot free so that tells me it’s probably clean on the inside of the tanks.
where could i get the skidoo slogan sticker made? Thx

 

Should I make the hood all fresh and leave nothing on it?
I can get the original new decals from doodecals.

 

Well I never got around to restore the 68.
After my 73 Olympic is finished I’m going to start the 68 I’ve been really wanting to do it but never got around to do it. Hopefully I’ll start it in November sometime.
