I was greasing my rear skid the other day. And noticed that there is a 2nd hole for the rear shock to mount to the rear arm(Up high by the springs). I new it was there but never tried it in that hole. What would be the positives and negatives in putting it in this hole. It is currently in the 2nd hole( very top hole). How would the bottom hole work?
As far as ride, weight transfer, handling, etc, etc. thanks

only good for riders under say 140 lbs , changes angles of shocks so springs have less tension for lighter drivers

It reduces the shock travel ratio and provides a softer ride. I tried it when when I blew a lumbar disc and it did soften things up nicely.
