I did everything Mike....I started with a pile of crap for $375 in March and now it's almost done! The skid: '81 rear idlers and brackets, front arm mounts, axle. 79 arms, welded and grease zerks in them. New springs, bushings, and shock.....still looking for a longer one open but still 6" or so closed. Same holes in the tunnel, much shorter track tensioning bolts.

Here is what I started with:

I like to see all the original decals in place, but that's my preference. It looks great like it is. Most people won't notice what you've left off or added, only that everything is shiny and straight so you can't be "wrong" whatever you decide to do. Great job, by the way. I wish I had the time and talent to do a project like that. Maybe someday....

My decals came from ORPS, but I think they all originate at AFE decals / aka doodecals.com. I've got all the warning decals left, and the big BLIZZARD decal that is supposed to go on the hood....but I am thinking of something different there, maybe a custom ROTAX 354 L/C or similar in place of it

Here's the build in it's entirety:

hmm I think the orps decals are actually from a company in alberta, as orps does not supply a kit for my 79 moto-ski super sonic, same as the place in alberta, but doodecals does.

thanks for the info, yours look great, now I have some head scratching to do

thanks Bark
