I had the crossbar down low behind the last inner idler break.
is replacing it with something stronger just going to wreck something more expensive?

any other problem areas to keep an eye on?

it's not uncommon to see those bend, i've taken mine off altogether, also the rear small lower pivot can bend sometimes, also got rid of the rubber cover over the center shock, ice buildups inside and makes for premature breaking of the spring.

ya another thing, beef up the spring supports :)

Probably leave mine off. it's been cracked all of last season, and I would hate to puthe in a steel tube and have it crack the rail the next time it would have broken or bent.

Yes, the gen4 rear suspension setup is carbon copy to the XU's
