Posing nude?

So I was at my first training session today to become a Disaster Simulator (a person who creates disaster scenes for rescue people to practice with) and I was asked by the one of my teachers (who is also an artist) if I would be willing to pose nude for their art class!

I asked if they were doing a series on Dinasaurs?? LOL

I was shocked, they said now that I have this new body would I be willing to show it off?? I didn't really know what to say as I was very interested in doing it.

I told them I would get back to them.

When I got home I phoned Randy and told him....he said and you said NO right! I said. actually I was considering doing it. He was SHOCKED!!

Is it wrong for me to be considering it?? Am I too old?? I am flattered to be asked should I just leave it at that??

What say you all my fellow sledders??

I have an arts degree and took 4 semester classes of life (nude) drawing for the degree requirements. As an artist, it was weird for the first couple of classes having someone nude in front of you and drawing them while they talk to you. The greatest thing about it is that artists normally are drawing clothes and not true "form." The muscle structure, pigments, etc... are such a benefit in understanding how to draw proportions. Clothes take the proportions out of art because of styling.

I didn't vote, but would say if you feel comfortable doing it and your husband is okay with it you should do it. If he is not... don't do it or arguements would really ruin the experience.

Also... it is not easy being a nude model. The models we worked with in college often times had to pose and NOT move for upwards of an hour. Try that at home once sitting, standing, etc... and not moving!
