There is a company called RaceLogic in Michigan, they sell magnetic porting templates with complete instructions. I think they are on sale now for $90 . They used to be around $149 Anyone that can remove their barrels, use a die grinder or dremel and can read can use these templates with exellent results, just follow the instructions BUT TAKE YOUR TIME. They have a tech line and are very helpful

for those of you who have ported and polished, did you see a big difference. I would like to do a couple mods to my 700 for next year, and this might be one.

After talking with several different people who have ported, I understand that the benefits would be minimal. I was told I could not expect more than an increase of 5-10 horsepower. Still not sure if I'm going to do it, looking for more input

10HP is alot . You will also probably see a gas mileage increase if you P & P, or have it Port matched.
