I dropped the jets in my carb 1 size in my 600 HO. Two nights ago it was 5 degrees F. I did two full throtle runs down an air strip on the last run I shut it down at full throtle and changed the plugs. The plugs that i took out are a little lighter than cardboard maybe half a shade is this to light? I would post pitures if I can figure out how.

buy looking @ plugs only that sounds reall good under those conditions. Count how many threads up on the plug show color?

Thats pretty light. I would opt for peace of mind over all out performance and go back up a size or two.

One on the right is where u want to be thats about perfect on a leaner side but still ive seen alot worse that is exceptable.

That 2nd pic is a lot better. Yep! That looks about right! Nail the throttle and dont look back.

Needle position doesn't do anything at wide open. If you're changing the needle position, you should check your plugs in the mid-range.

I dunno guys i wouldn't being doing any long lake runs with those plugs thats boarder line too lean its not worth the risk. I would go up one size and keep it safe.

So what altitude are you at and what main were you using?? I would probablyrichen it back 1 size though.

My brand new '06 800 looks lighter than those! Even with a full tank of pre-mix. It is with the dealer now and I will see what they find out tomorrow.

I like my plugs, like I like my boobs, white on the outside and light brown on the tips…

Holy crap, they seem real light to me. Mine are black to dark brown, but I just calculated I'm at about 32:1, but I sleep good at night. Should I lengthen the cable a bit? to say 40-45:1

those are almost perfect for a sled with DPM. A really tight tune will be even lighter and no problem at all.
If you only dropped it one size you have nothing to worry about these are way fat from the factory.
