I bought them for my Mach and thetre much better then the precisions. Biggest improvement is in the powder, you can actually steer! You have to buy a mounting kit which is basically a bolt, rubber block and carbides. Your old ones wont fit. It was about $300.00US total.

I agree with ZRider and would add that they require less effort to turn. I added them to my 05 this season and they are hands down better! I only have about 500 miles on them so far and to this point they look great even with running in marginal snow contitions at times and a lot of road crossings. For grinns I am installing Bergstroms triple edge runners, shims and ski protectors.

Thanks for the input. I have been holding off purchasing Pilots for the 05 until some owners had logged enough riding time to evaluate. My wife's biggest complaint with the Mach is the steering effort required with the Precisions. Wait maybe this is not a good thing.

Blue i've got 280 miles on mine of which 228 was from trip up to the arrowhead
region, thought i'd miss my precision's but the pilot's have made me forget about
them! on my gade the steering effort is "way" less, fact i told my buddy it was darn nears like power steering and where you turn is where you'll go! --i like em!!

I like them better...1500 miles on the pilot 5.7 with studboys 6" shaper on center & 4 1/2" shaper on the outside.

Besides the easier steering I was most impressed on how they got rid of the dartiness on ice !!!!!
I have over 600 mi. on my Pilots and I like them. As stated above, much better turning in soft snow in corners. Also, virtually no darting anywhere. They are a very good update over the precisions; money well spent. I'm running Woody's 6" Trailblazers on them. Go get 'em Max and Saint.
