has anyone else experienced the preload nut loosening up on its own, while your out on a days ride? me and 2 of my friends have them, and they all do this. is there a fix, to help keep them in the same position? the more i preload mine, the better they seem to hold in place. they are 03.5 shocks. they don't have threads above the collar.

I havent either, but I could see where its possible. Feel lucky the threads arent all messed up so you cant move them at all, that seems more common to me. How about adjusting them to where you like, then wrap a thin strip of duct tape around the the top a couple times to prevent it from backing off? Just a thought.
