I just lost compression on one of my cylinder so my plan is to look at other options for performance upgrades: 2007 mxz 800 PTEK motor

1. Dome cylinder heads ( rt tek, cudney)

2 piston kit (mcb dual ring, RT tek)

What experience do you have to get me more HP without trial and error?

Thanks in Advance

If I were in your situation I would buy an mcb piston and ring kit. If you have a factory 1" 121 track in an 800, chances are you already have trouble getting traction. An MCB dual ring rebuild would be just fine.

port it or BB drop in kit. A head won't do much for hp gains but will help with cooling.
