I need advice on where to order parts and get then quickly. No dealers in my area. I have always ordered from Partzilla and always had good experience until recently.

Order 1 - Ordered 11/27 - All parts in stock and shipping within 24 hours. Received an email the next day saying my order shipped except for 4 units of the same item. Those items were now backordered. I received the in-stock items on 12/2 via UPS. Open the box, 1 item (torsion spring) was clearly installed/used/abused and not even the correct part number in the box. This spring easily had 500-700 miles on it based upon rust and wear marks. I contacted Partzilla immediately. They apologized and said a replacement will be shipped ASAP and will provide a UPS return label. Two days later, still no order or shipping confirmation. I contacted them. "We won't ship until we receive the used part." Huh? Now getting pissed. Unacceptable. They agreed to ship the replacement. I asked to have it "overnighted or 2-day" - they refused but said it will be "expedited." Next day I receive a shipping confirmation, USPS Ground Advantage. Slowest, cheapest option they could find - but says it will be delivered in 4 days. OK. As with most cheap shipping options, it was delayed/lost. It does show up 8 days later. The "backordered" items also shipped. They decided to ship them USPS Ground Advantage as well. They too were eventually lost in transit - 10 days and counting. Partzilla agreed to ship them again. Now they are on backorder until 12/23. Last night, I receive an email saying the replacement order is cancelled. No explanation and no refund mentioned.

Order 2 - Three days ago, I placed another order. All items in stock. Next day, I received a shipping confirmation. Unfortunately, they shipped USPS Ground Advantage again. 3 days later, USPS says they don't have the package, Partzilla says they shipped. No idea if/when I'll get them.

Order 3 - This order was placed at the exact same time as Order 3. These items were all showing as orderable from BRP, and will ship in 2-3 business days. I purposely separated the items to avoid shipping delays. 24 hours after placing the order, the status changes to shipping on 12/23.

Partzilla has always shipped UPS ground, never had an issue. Clearly they are trying to cut costs at the expense of customer service. The funny thing is, they pay for UPS return shipping for the used part.

On the positive, they respond to email within hours; bad news, they rarely offer anything of substance.

After spending $3K with them in 2 years, I think I need to find another more reliable source until they return to their old shipping model.

I know Partzilla is the cheapest, but the season is short and I'll pay more and actually get the part. Is buying direct from BRP any better or should I stick to 3rd party?

Can't it just be that you order two days after Black Friday!.. And the Christmas shopping craziness that's going on this time of the year! + the Canada post on a strike since 11/11 and still going on.. I personally get the feeling that the retailers are trying to blame the carrier and the carrier want to put the blame on the retailer etc! It's just crazy this time of the year!:(

I assume that Partzilla has there own warehouse in the USA? But they could also have a "remote warehouse" in Canada for the BRP parts that could explain some of the delays in this case!

Over here we have dealers with "epc.brp.com API's" stitched in to there own websites! It's great! it's just like epc.brp.com but with an added price tag & add to shopping cart, pay and it's gets shipped to you! I would amuse this exists in the USA & Canada as well!?

I hope you get your stuff sooner then later!🤞:)

All Partzilla shipments are coming from US warehouses in NV and GA. I have received dozens of orders from other retailers across the country since Black Friday. FedEx, UPS, USPS. I just received 2 packages from West Coast (I’m in PA) shipped USPS shipped on Tuesday of this week (Now Sat) - Not Partzilla.

The package I ordered around Black Friday showed immediately (with the used part) was shipped UPS.

I’m pretty sure the issue is Partzilla and the ultra low cost shipping option they are selecting in some situations. The other issue is their inventory mgmt. They are showing items in stock only to change to backorder hours later at the point of shipping.

The last Partzilla order (#3) hasn’t been scanned by USPS for 3 days. I can see missing a single scan but no scans all tells me Partzilla never actually shipped despite what there system says - or they provided the wrong tracking.

At this point, I might be better off ordering from a dealer and making the long drive.

Not sure what Partzilla problem is right now. I have never ever had any problems with them. I even just placed a order couple weeks ago and had the stuff in 48 hours. But they had everything on hand too. Had to pay Expedited shipping because I wanted it now but went from their warehouse from Georgia to northern Wisconsin 48 hours at my door step. Actually it was a little less than 48 hours from the time I placed the order. Myself I would still stick with Partzilla.

Can't comment on both but that is one of the reasons why I always order my stuff in July that way I have time to sort any confusion during the summer, the other is the price of BRP parts have not gone up yet as they ALWAYS go up in the fall.

I do the same but usually in the spring if I ordered a spring order sled. This time I ordered only because I found out it was missing a couple things that had been changed up on skidoo sled and updated since 2024. But springtime is some discounts too if they have stuff in stock yet.

To the op, is there a dealer that's willing to drop ship to you?
I'm not in your situation but the dealer I use is a hour plus away when one is 10 minutes away that I won't use. The dealer I use will drop ship whatever to me, same cost if I pick it up or it's shipped to my house. No discount other than a sale they may have but I get what I ordered in a timely manner.

I too have had the same type problems with Partszilla, CAN AM parts showed in stock, still back ordered for over a month.... nothing current either (outlander 400)
Similar issues with Partszilla Yamaha parts shows in stock and back ordered next few days.
Was a great place but, something has changed in the last year or so...

I haven't ordered anything big in a long time, but I usually like Jay Cox powersports..https://www.jaycoxpowersports.com/. I think they were even one of the sponsors of this site at one time.
