Hi guys. My boys and I from Buffalo have had the weekend of Feb 5-7 penciled in for a trip to our place in Parry Sound for a while now. OFSC map looks pretty poor in that area. Any thoughts from locals? Any hope of it shaping up in the next week or so? Thanks

My dad lives there and said there's only about 12" of snow in bush. Trails are terrible. Not much in forecast either.

A lot has to happen in one week for your trip to be worthwhile. The seguin is passable (I was on it yesterday) but there is warm weather and rain expected Sunday and Monday, with another warm up later next week.

If I were you I'd plan to head more north....like North Bay, to be safe.

My cottage is in the Parrysound area . we have been trailering up toward Mattawa about 1hr 1/2 worth the trip.

Lakes not staked as of last week , but you can trailer to sequin at 214 but not very good .

Lakes are all slush. Sucks. I know a few people heading to Harley this weekend.

Here is a webcam of Hawley lake south of Party sound.

Personally I would change your plans and go to Barry's Bay.

Thanks guys. What we suspected last week has definitely been confirmed with the forecast this week. Crappy. I appreciate all the input. Cheers from Buffalo!
