Going to pick up a one piece for this winter. Looking at prices and the tobe is more then the klim. I've always worn klim gear but I also don't mind pay extra for quality. What's everyone think of their onesies.

Used a Tobe Rex Monosuit all last year, love it. Going from HMK pants and a High Quality FXR Coat, I find it much better. Mine is non-insulated, and I just layer accordingly - usually riding between 0 and -10 C, base layer, pants and long sleeve and a Tek vest. Usually have a hoodie or sweater in the gear bag if I end up riding late or get some nasty windchills.

Only complaint I had was a set of suspenders would have been great, especially when you are stopped and have the top half opened or down. I do see the Rex V2 has the suspenders for this year. I only found the sizing to run a little big. Even with the Tek vest, it's a little big on me. They do have a lot of great pictures to help you decide, but I could have went a size down I'd say.

I also bought mine at the end of season near 40% off, just in case you didn't need it right away.

TOBE gear is simply amazing...especially their monosuits. Hit us up with any questions or pricing...we're always happy to give discounts on gear to DooTalk members. :ride:

Love the mono suits. I’m currently running the Tobe Privus (couple year old model) which I think is similar to the Ludo now. I’ve also tried the Klim ones. Both are similar, but you really have to try them on to see how they fit.

I took a leap of faith in a Klim one piece ripsa suit last year and was amazed...no hot...no cold...no wind...no snow getting in...it was like the entire day I was as comfortable and warm as I would have been sitting on the couch at home. It quickly became a no brainer...one piece of gear from head to toe...easy to keep track of. And I don't need to second guess if its gonna be enough. Pockets are an "Ehh"...could be a little bigger/better located but not a huge deal. But in the steep and deep or on the trails in and out the suit just made the weather irrelevant! The other brands I'm sure are right there as well...pick your favorite color and enjoy the days even more!

Tobe mono suits are unreal!!! I wore Klim bibs for years and as everyone knows klim gear is awesome stuff but in the steep and deep I wanted to go mono suit. Im now on my second TOBE suit and couldn't be happier. Big shout out to Antlers lodge in Cooke for letting me use a REX for a day at no cost. That's the only way i would consider the price tag but it is worth it!!! After using a REX for a season I purchased an Odin for the leg zipper option. Both suits are amazing and being 100% dry at the end of the day is epic. The only reason I didn't choose the Klim mono suit was the fit. It seemed to me the Klim was fit to a tall slim build, modeled after Burant maybe. I'm a stockier guy @ 210 LBS and 6'0" and the fit of the Large TOBE feels like it was made for me. So to me both great suits but when spending that much coin a guy really needs to try them on. Just my 2 cents....
