Can anyone tell me whats going on here and how I would correct this. Does that oil line work like a brake line with a banjo bolt and squish washers or am I way off.

Thanks in advance.

Its not a oil line, its a knock sensor. You do not want to over tighten it. I cannot remember the torq spec for it, but it is less than the rest of the head bolts. Use some brake clean to clean the area. Im sure some one will chime in with the torq spec. If they do not, I will look it up for you.

Muddy12,

The knock sensor bolt torq is 17ft lbs and the rest of the head bolts are 21 ft lbs. as stated, make sure your spark plugs are tight or replace them.

I doubt the knock sensor is your problem. If anything you'd have a coolant leak if the bolt going thru the knock sensor was loose. My guess is the spark plugs/holes are the cause of the leak.
