Hi,

Resently my 95 Mach Z(all stock except Boyesen Reeds) has begun too run rich when idleing. Have checked the choke, but its fine and cleaned the carburators.

It backfire alot also. Can it be stator timing that is off? Have changed sparkplugs, measured the coils(0,5 ohm on all coils). It starts pretty good when cold(but not on the 3rd pull as it should).

When throttling up it works pretty good, but there is something that just not sound right. Good power and it revs up to 8300rpm without any problem.

Re-jet. The reeds will allow more fuel to enter the motor. Jet a tad leaner.

Its been done right after I changed the reeds(last year). Ive jettet the carbs one size down from stock. The idle jetting is stock though(40,45,45).
