My 2007 Mach idles at 2500rpm when cold and drops only very slightly to 2400 rpm when warm? Is this normal or can i adjust it? How do i if you can? I was parked beside my friends 2007 600 renegade and he was idling only at 1500.

Thanks again guys. LOVE this forum!!

Cold idle should be around 2000-2200. Warm idle around 1800-2k.

Is this a recent issue or something that's always been a problem?

Okay, do yourself a favor and just ensure you have no air leaks, then use the big idle knob to adjust your idle. It requires very tiny adjustments.

I had to adjust mine while it was still cold, any time I tried while it was warm, I had high idle issues the next trip.

Hopefully the sled didn't have fouling issues and the previous owner covered it up with a high idle, but it's easy enough to knock the idle off messing around with the TB's so we won't go there yet.

The more I think about it, the more I recall that there is no idle knob. There are 2 screws, you must adjust the correct one as you can mess up the zero position. Sorry, the last Doo I had my paws on had my memory foggy.
