I took my (primary) clutch off today & gave it a real good cleanin. Used brakleen & brushed it out real well. Dried it with the compressor. Used some graphite on the insides to keep everything free.
Now the thing is noisy as hell. Like somethin is loose in there. Did I clean it too well, or am I lookin at a rebiuld?
& are parts readily available for it?

Thanks
Alex

Who made this clutch anyway?
In my vintage sled manual it says "own" in the clutch manufacturer column.
Is "own" a company or does that mean that Bombardier made their own clutches.
I need to know so I don't start ordering the wrong stuff.
Thanks

Thats the own Bombardier clutch.Should have an orange outer cover.Be sure when you rebuild it to install the square shaft in the"square "of the outer cover. Also verify if the if the square shaft is still"square"not roundish.Check also the square in the cover.Verify if the the studs ate not loose in the arms. The arm studs shouldnt be loose in the red bushings.
