Well first ride of the season, 2016 XRS 800, 180km, and 69% break in left. This sled handles like its on rails!... Amazing sled!... Very very happy with it over all. I had dealer install skid plate, riser bars, and picked track, and oh ya "no tunnel protectors"......brought her back to shop, thawed out, and noticed that there was no tunnel protectors on!... Evertying installed by dealer. Luckily I was a little gentle on it, but what if?

Braindead friggin Dealer-Service Manager-Mechanic and Salesman. If there is one scratch on that heat exchanger demand a brand new one in the off season. Damn those simple minded people.........

Wow, could have been a bad day, 2 of my friends had the same thing happen, shouldn't have to go over the sled if dealer is installing.

I'm pretty sure those get installed at the factory, not the dealer.

Either way, if you are not running studs, you don't need them

If you spring order a sled with standard ripsaw track you do not get tunnel protectors. If you order with ice ripper they get added at the factory.

Shame on dealer for installing studs and no protectors...
