I have a new to me 2000 Skidoo Formula Deluxe 600. It has issues. I have issues with it.

1) it came with no manual. How do I replace the belt?

2) It came with no tools. What tools should I keep handy?

3) it is electric start, but the battery has been removed. I noticed I do not have any tail lights, even after replacing the bulb. Is a battery needed for those lights to work? It starts with 1 or 2 pulls, so, putting a battery back in is not much of an issue.

4) My primary clutch locked up while riding. It cause me to have to get it pulled back to my truck. If this happens again, besides cutting the belt, how would I be able to get the clutch to release?

There is a tool for removing the belt. It was a "t" handle style little tool that would thread into a hole on the secondary to spread the sheaves apart. You should be able to find a bolt with correct threads and use that.

You do not need battery for the tail light. Remove the seat and check the wiring underneath it. As for the clutch sticking, it is either very dirty or has damaged parts. You will likely need to remove it and go through it,
