How long doo you think it would take YK to kill one of those?????

This concept has been around for a couple years...

I saw that at the Detroit Auto show about five years ago or so. GM got alot of criticism over it because they didn't follow the normal evolution of refining gas/electric hybrids. They jumped straight into full hydrgen power. At the time there was no structured hydrogen filling stations. I just heard recently that BMW will introduce the first hydrogen powered car to the public in '07 so maybe there are some filling stations in place now. I would guess that it will have a rather limited market and likely a hefty price tag.
BTW the hydrogen comes out of the sea water before it goes into the car.
I haven't seen anything on this for quite awhile, I wonder if they are considering reintroducing this to the public with BMWs move ot hydrogen?

The price and performance will have to compare with conventional vehicles before this will hit the mainstream.

Performance shouldn't be a problem if the car makes enough electricity to power a street.

Price will be the problem - BUT - anyone remember when Plasma TV's were $20,000?
