hey guys, just wondering what there is out there for ski upgrades for this machine. will be ordering online so don't want to get something that won't work with the pogo suspension.

mostly use machine for ice fishing, hauling sled loads of gear in pretty good powder so looking for some extra floatation and turning ability.

I put a set of Kimpex ones on my 1996 Tundra R and then moved them to my 2005. I really like them. Handles and floats well. I think there was some machining involved to get the rubbers to fit right, but nothing you couldn't do with a drill if you don't have a machinist/fabricator/welder riding buddy (which everyone should have by the way).

I'll try to dig up some photos.

Thanks. I've had a decent 96 for about a half dozen years. I use it mostly for trails around the "yard" (60 acres). I came across this one in the fall. Newer, cleaner, blacker.

Here's a pic of the yellow one that found a new home with a neighbour/friend as a bigger kid's sled.

I can't imagine a future without one of these machines in it.

I have installed mine today. I bought a pair of used ski and bumper from a summit 2010 for 120 $ They are pilot 6.9, they weight 10 lbs, the metal ski with the skin weight 29 lbs. I had to buy a longer bolt and some washer for shimming. I put the bumper on the opposite way (front at the back) because there is more material on the front side and i have to trim the bumper on the back side.

I could have cut the back side of the pogo like the newer tundra, but i preffer to cut a 10$ piece of rubber instead the 200$ pogo....

Finally a lot of time trimming but the result look perfeck. I dont have try them yet... still waiting fot snow.
