I just got my cowl redone. The guy that did it is really good at airbrushing, so i went with the blue flames. On another note, does anyone know how to clean up the plastic on the belly pan, and what kind of polish doo you recommend for the tunnel?

Hood look's sweet dude,as far as the tunnel I use mothers billet seems to work well as far as the plastic i'm not sure mines black.
Castrol Super Clean is the best stuff for bellypans ect. I used it last night, sprayed it on the area by the exhaust where that black stuff that never comes off. I soaked it, came back a minute later, all the black stuff had just dripped off. I couldn't believe it.

Hood looks great! I like it a lot. Subtle and unique.

As far as the belly pan, what's wrong with it? Dirty or faded? If it's dirty try simple green. Nice strong cleaner but won't hurt anything. If it's fading, try "back to black" I think it's made by Mothers, works wonders.

That hood looks amazing.

IMHO, all the yellow needs to go.

Very nice, you should die the yellow on the seat blue to match, jmo.
I use Hoosier metal polish, I have tried Autosol, Mothers, Meguires etc. and they all work good but I find the Hoosier to require less effort and gives a better shine. Good luck finding it though!

I agree. Need to something with the yellow. Hood looks great!
i find brake cleaner cleans everything amazing! and ya ya hood looks great but gotta do soemthing with the seat!
I definately agree with you guys on getting rid of the yellow. How would i go about dying the seat? My idea is dying the yellow on the seat blue, possibly blue wheels, and the rest black. What doo you think?
Hey, i would really appreciate someone's input on how to dye my seat black. I think it would really be the way to go.
As far as the seat goes here are a couple ideas:

-Remove the seat then the seat cover. Take the cover to an upholstery shop and have them sew in new pieces where the yellow is now.

-The 'Ski Doo' and 'Bombardier' is painted onto the seat and can be removed by using a small/judicious amount of paint remover applied to a rag then to the seat to remove the lettering. Do not let the paint remover sit on the seat for long, eh.

A cheap fix for the front springs is to buy some shock covers in whatever color you choose.

Black or silver idlers may be easier to find than blue.
