I have a 76 moto-ski sonic that I just threw a new track under. I am having a little trouble getting the rear skid back into the sled and I was wondering if anyone had any tricks to make this job easier.

Elevate the rear. Disconnect the fwd limiter strap completely; leave the rear shock upper pin out. Rear idlers all the way loose (in).

Should go right in, skid arms will hang vertical with no load on them. Put bolts in, set sled back down, hook up limiter, compress rear (2 people helps) and put pin back in.

Tighten / adjust track.

Ok I guess that makes sense. I will try it tomorrow and see what I can do. Thanks for the tip
