When riding my newly purchased 1974 Elan 250 single I noticed the clutch seemed to engage late and sometimes made a small screech sound right after take off.
Removed the drive clutch to do maintenance and noticed wear on the arms inside the governor cup. Also noticed the arms made marks inside the drive pulley inner half. Not sure of the term, but where the arms engage seems also well worn down.
Is this clutch gone or salvageable???
