Hey Everyone, Been gathering parts and wrenching my butt off....
I finally got her completed last night and will be heading north to the U.P. this weekend to test it out.
I want to Thank the following people who either helped me work on my sled, bought parts from or just answered some questions.

Homemade Bulkhead Protectors using an old belt - rivets and some stainless brackets.

Rear View - The Ski-Doo logo is done in Reflective Blue.
Its alot darker than it appears, actually a tad darker than the powder coating.
When the flash hits it it turns lighter....

Using a 1.5 inch track with 1.625 inch studs.... I would rather be on the - "Safe" - Side.
She's a pretty tight fit, I had to trim down the Ski-Doo Tunnel Protectors to make it clear the track and still have some protection.

Looks great!! I really like the polished aluminum on the side panels and rear flap. I did the same on the rear flap, pop riveted a piece of metal on, then put covered it with red reflective sticker for safety and a blue reflective Ski-doo sticker.

Thanks....I have looked your sled over many times for details on how you did things.

When I get some time, I'll be adding a Gallery of my stuff....
This has been so much fun to Doo.....
Its been quite a project....
The 136" Rails had to be milled down and modded to make it all work....Chuck gave me a Screamin Deal....

Its called Candy Blue, My Powder Coater said its also called Transparent Blue.
Depending on the manufacturer.
Its a 2 step process - color and clear with a tint of blue - not sure exactly - I wasnt there to watch him apply it.
I dont know what he used, but I Doo know it wasnt PPG....He Hates PPG
It takes almost twice as much powder to come out the same with PPG.
He asked his Rep and he said....well ?
Its so you buy more from us.....
He said - F- You and doesnt buy from him anymore!

Thanks man, i thought it was trans blue... hey can you let me know how that holds up on your running boards, cuz i was gonna do the same kind of thing, but didn't know how well it could hold up... i have a lot of parts pc'd on my quad and know they hold up, but didn't know if the rubbing of your boots would shave the pc off. thanks man, Can't wait to see some pics of your sled out in the snow... probably the nicest rev ive seen... ~Jay
