I logged in 1500 miles this season and went through two sets of carbides. Its seems the my ski's have to much weight on the front section of the ski. The front part of the carbide is almost gone and the back section looks like new. The shocks are set right and I dont have to much ski pressure. Just the ski's themselves have to much push on the front. You can see when in the drive way that the front goes down more then the back.

I was told that I can get a shim kit that will go under the rubber block thats under the spindle. Just put the shim between the bottom of the rubber and the ski bottom.

has anyone heard of this or had this issue

do a search on this here and you will find alot of people that have done it with great results. Its easy to do no "kit" required, just a 2 small pieces of hard plastic about 1/8" - 1/4" thick and a couple small screws.

screw the plastic to the bottom of the rubber boot at the back and your done.
