MXZ 600 1999 Intermittent spark MPEM ?

Trying to help buddy out with sled. It will spark for a few seconds, then not.

Reading around, seems like might be known issue with MPEM.

Very hard (if not impossible to find)

Anyone found a way to have a different Ignition setup or have MPEM repair tips?

Have you tried cutting back the spark plug wire a 1/4 inch? Sure ya got a good plug boot connection ,try a different plug. Sometimes ya get lucky.
