I would almost bet money that your loop is from an existing ski, like I know the carbides he uses come from a 87-89 yamaha exciter 3 lug pattern. So I would PM him (if its not full) and ask what stock ski's his handles come from. This is very, bad , bad.....I have broken one of the SKI LOOPS...I need a replacement....What do I do NOW???? HELP![]()
How much $$ will it take to buy Rene out????Ok guys here is the scoup on the whole MOD ski thing, I talked with Rene about 4 days ago, Rene and another guy makes the ski's, but the are selling the machine that makes them, so since they have made this choice no ski's have been made. Rene was hoping that slydog would purchase it but they havent gotten back to them. So in a nut shell there in a holding pattern on making the ski's, he did tell me that he had some blue and red ones left and it takes 2000.00 bucks in plastic to make 12 sets of ski's, he is thinking about doing one more batch of yellow and calling it good, he said that he had 8 potentials waiting to see if they would do that last batch, myself and another buddy would make 9 and 10.
So when it comes to color options you have Blue and Red (as of right now)
Mod ski's arent dead, just holding waiting for a buyer
hope this clears up some of your questions

Oh P.S.
Do not take offence if Rene dosent PM you back, DooTalk only allows for 75 PM's. Accourding to Rene that fills up in minutes.
So thats all

Good news.MODS skis is still in business, just changed owners, thats all. This is sad, are you saying we can't get any parts anymore? I'm looking for a set of skins and wear bars or carbides if you are still shipping inventory.
Thanks,
Brian.
