im just wondering have 1968 skidoo olympic 370 opposed twin and im having a hell of time finding top end gaskets for it now im just wondering if i could make them out of someting like aluminum sheet or any other material plus how thick of sheet aluminum

yes you could make them, mic out the dimensions of the old head gaskets, because they are already crushed, then if you acces to a drill press, or machine shop, start cutting away. With aluminum head gaskets, use of a sealer, such as yamabond is acceptable.

For your base gaskets, go down to your local Napa, Advance, Hardware store, etc, and get some gasket paper, the correct thickness of the original ones. Sealer is not needed for this part.

Usually,we dont use any sealer on the head gasket.

u can get everything u need at a hardware store did u try dennis kirk for the gaskets
