mach no doubt, my 800 takes an apex everytime, unless the race is 2 miles long.
This has not been my experience.Powerave said:Apex until 100 MPH, if clutched, stock not even close, after that, chow chow apex and ZZZZZZZZZZ first on top.![]()

I agree you DOOSKIX, however, Just drop the clikers on 1 or 2, the Mach is gone.DOOSKIX said:This has not been my experience.Powerave said:Apex until 100 MPH, if clutched, stock not even close, after that, chow chow apex and ZZZZZZZZZZ first on top.![]()

Every Apex I've run has been back multiple lengths after a 1000 or so feet, can't say that about any Mach's I've run.
Then again a well set up Apex will beat a Mach in bone stock form, i.e. clickers on 6.

That would definitely change the outcome in a shorter drag...skimp369 said:stock for stock...in a dash the apex will take the z, because the apex has the 1.25 lug...now put the 1.25 lug on the z, combined with the 20lbs lighter chasis and the +20hps you have a faster sled. #s aren't exact but almost.

I have a Mach Z X 06' with the 1.25" track and it will outpull the apex with no problem, I'm not trying to start something it just the way it is...with the Yamaha's I've encountered.skimp369 said:stock for stock...in a dash the apex will take the z, because the apex has the 1.25 lug...now put the 1.25 lug on the z, combined with the 20lbs lighter chasis and the +20hps you have a faster sled. #s aren't exact but almost.
