had a chance to play on the lake this weekend for the first time, sled is stock,no studs, decomp plugs, clutching etc.Tried clickers from 3 to 1,and played with plugs, the 8 and 9.With clickers on 1 and the 8 plugs would run 122,123 digital speedo,111 gps,it was pretty slick out,not much snow,(same story all winter in mi)with the #9 plug it pulled 125 on digital speedo and it actually felt stronger through the power band. Was wondering if the speeds I am seeing are right in line with everyone else and if anyone has seen a diff in power and speed between the 8 and 9 plug. Thanks for the info

This past weekend we had 6-7 Machs on the lake radaring in 2200 feet. There was one that showed up, no clutching at all but had decompresions plugged. He ran 116-117. There were 4 other ones that had decompressions plugged and various clutching set ups in them and ran anywhere from 118 to a best 122.8. The fastest Z ran 125.3 with a little more clutching. Goes to show you what clutching can do and how stories can get started about how the mighty Z went down at a race as my Firecat which is a very good runner ran 116.4.

Guys, I don't understand why your Machs are so slow.....I know a guy who has a stock 04 Legend GT 600 H.O. SDI that can get 121 MPH and I'm not kidding.

That sled would be a rocket, if it could even hit 105-108mph on GPS/radar on bare ice.

I'm getting about the same out of mine, seems like the 1.25s eat up quite a bit of speed. This was on about 2-3 inches of loose, granular snow. Groomed railbed. Running 200/290 primary spring with 16 gram OEM pins on clicker #3. 8s are making the spark.

If that's all there is, then that's all there is!!!

Last Week End, Radar run St-Joseph de Beauce in Quebec, i did a 197 km/h 3 times stock trail with my MachZ. Br8es, clicker at 1 with 16.4 grams pines, predator. The tach was at 131 mph.

Some Mach pass over 200 km/h, and one touch 209 km/h. It was a great day for the Machz 1000.
