That's cool, a 24" track with the Expedition front end and an 800 etec? Wow, can you say unstoppable?
Yes.. Unstoppable sounds realistic...

When Commander 800 was introduced, the rumour says, that someone asked, why Lynx made that kind of a monster.. The answer from the factory was something like this: "Because we can".. :D

Now, if someone asks that same question, I believe the answer is something like this: "Because no one else can".. :D

But yes.. That may be the meanest and most effective Sled ever made.... by anyone.

Really stupid question, but has any US dealer (Maybe Canadian) successfully import/sell Lynx even though they aren't intended for North America?

Maybe they'll drop the 850 in it next year. :)

Nice sled but i'm not sold on more HP in a SWT, the 600 etec is a step down from the 900 & 600 ace when it boils down to traction, can't see a 800 being any better, lots of power when you can and need to use it though!

Me like. I'd say that climb the devil. Just out of curiosity what's that worth?

Whoa, where's the screen cleaner? I just spit my tea everywhere.

18 thousand euros at todays conversion is in the realm of $26,500 Canadian, or $19,500 for our brothers to the south. Not including tax or import charges! You're talking near $30,000 for a sled.....for that reason, I'm out. :unsure_old:

Nice sled though. Imagine if you outfit it with the touratec racks and stuff.....LOL.

It looks as though the 550 is no longer an option on the Lynx. I wonder if North America will lose it in 2018?
I sure hope so. They should have dropped that motor years ago. Every year our local dealer says "this is the last year of the 550, buy one"

Socialism aint cheap. The same sled would not cost that over here if it were brought over here as Doos.

I agree with you guys that it is time for the 550 to go. Although our friends in the very remote places that have to fly their sled to get it hooked to a computer to tell them that a $20.00 oxygen sensor is bad would probably rather have to put more gas in than spend $6000.00 on a flight plus repairs. Gas starts to look cheap when you consider this.

Gas has to be flown in very expensively and continually. A computer has to be flown in once and it is very cheap to do so. Only the initial purchase price of the license is somewhat expensive. A computer and an ACE looks cheaper than a 550 plus several extra barrels of fuel annually.
