Hey guys-

We put about 300 miles on this weekend and had a pretty good ride. On the way home my oil light came on briefly and I rode this way for probably 60 miles. There was still 1/4 left in the the oil tank and the light was never on constantly, but it would flicker and blink in corners/under braking conditions etc.... I took it pretty easy on the sled during this 60 miles.

I had extra oil but gave it away to a poor planner earlier in the day as I was ok on oil then and thought it'd be plenty. When I got home I filled it up and everything is good.

Is this light pretty forgiving? How does the sensor work etc....? Any damage caused from the above described conditions?

Thanks.

You have at least a quart left when the light starts flickering. You should be fine but a lesson learned
