Thinking of putting a skidplate on my '09 GTX. Just want to see some sleds with them on. Probably will go with a Black plate, as the sled is all black. Thanx, Jim

If you ride off trail at any time just go ahead and put one on. You wont regret it.
Black on black works too.

Go with a doo Racing or extreme skid plate. The old wide ones pack snow and ice under the A-arms making it hard to steer. Plus these look way better from the front....

I just installed an Extreme Skidplate skid plate.
I added a rivet on either side to make a nice clean tight fit.
I also added 2 rivets in the front on the "SKI-DOO" to hold it tighter.
I used a permanent marker to colour the "SKID - DOO".
It took me about 2 hours, but I love the look.

This is a Pic when I 1st put it on. I'm glad I had the coverage on the sides because that area is all marked up now from big hits.
